400;\">\u672c\u9879\u76ee\u65e8\u5728\u4e3a\u7acb\u5fd7\u8fdb\u5165\u201c\u5723\u9053\u4e8b\u5949\u201d\uff08ministry of the Word\uff09\u7684\u7537\u6027\u63d0\u4f9b\u8bad\u7ec3\u4e0e\u8bc4\u4f30\u3002\u8be5\u9879\u76ee\u8bbe\u7acb\u7684\u6839\u672c\u52a8\u673a\u662f\u987a\u670d\u5723\u7ecf\u7684\u6559\u5bfc\u3002\u6b63\u5982\u4f7f\u5f92\u4fdd\u7f57\u5bf9\u63d0\u6469\u592a\u6240\u8bf4\uff1a\u201c\u4f60\u5728\u8bb8\u591a\u89c1\u8bc1\u4eba\u9762\u524d\u4ece\u6211\u6240\u542c\u89c1\u7684\uff0c\u4e5f\u8981\u4ea4\u6258\u90a3\u5fe0\u5fc3\u3001\u80fd\u6559\u5bfc\u522b\u4eba\u7684\u4eba\u3002\u201d\uff08\u63d0\u540e 400;\"><em>\u5e94\u5f53\u529d\u52c9\u6709\u80fd\u529b\u7684\u7537\u5b50\u4e3a\u670d\u4f8d\u5723\u9053\u800c\u5b66\u4e60\u3002\u6b64\u4eba\u82e5\u4e3a\u672c\u8054\u5408\u4f1a\u6240\u5c5e\u6559\u4f1a\u7684\u6210\u5458\uff0c\u4e14\u7acb\u5fd7\u8ffd\u6c42\u6b64\u670d\u4f8d\uff0c\u5e94\u5411\u5176\u6240\u5c5e\u7267\u957f\u4f1a\u663e\u660e\u771f\u5b9e\u7684\u656c\u8654\u3002\u5176\u6240\u5c5e\u7267\u957f\u4f1a\u5e94\u627f\u62c5\u6b64\u4eba\u63a5\u53d7\u8bad\u7ec3\u671f\u95f4\u5404\u65b9\u9762\u7684\u76d1\u7763\u5de5\u4f5c\uff0c\u5305\u62ec\u5176\u8bb2\u9053\u8d44\u683c\u8003\u6838\uff0c\u5e76\u786e\u4fdd\u5176\u63a5\u53d7\u4e00\u5957\u5b8c\u6574\u7684\u6539\u9769\u5b97\u795e\u5b66\u6559\u80b2\u3002\u5176\u6240\u5c5e\u6559\u4f1a\u8bae\u4f1a\u5e94\u5f53\u5e2e\u52a9\u786e\u4fdd\u5176\u7ecf\u6d4e\u9700\u6c42\u3002<\/em><\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u672c\u5b9e\u4e60\u9879\u76ee\u5728\u4ee5\u4e0b\u65b9\u9762\u5bf9\u6f5c\u5728\u7684\u5723\u9053\u4e8b\u5949\u5019\u9009\u4eba\u8fdb\u884c\u8bad\u7ec3\u4e0e\u8bc4\u4f30\uff1a<br 400;\">\u5b9e\u4e60\u751f\u5c06\u7531\u672c\u6559\u4f1a\u7267\u957f\u4f1a\u76f4\u63a5\u7763\u5bfc\u4e0e\u683d\u57f9\uff0c\u83b7\u5f97\u5c55\u793a\u5e76\u53d1\u5c55\u5176\u6069\u8d50\u7684\u673a\u4f1a\uff1b\u5176\u662f\u5426\u9002\u5408\u8fdb\u5165\u5723\u9053\u4e8b\u5949\uff0c\u5c06\u7531\u7267\u957f\u4f1a\u4f5c\u51fa\u5224\u65ad\u3002\u901a\u5e38\u60c5\u51b5\u4e0b\uff0c\u51e1\u7ecf\u8bae\u4f1a\u6279\u51c6\uff0c\u5176\u52b3\u52a1\u5c06\u83b7\u5f97\u6bcf\u6708\u6d25\u8d34\u3002<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u4e3a\u786e\u4fdd\u9ad8\u8d28\u91cf\u7684\u7763\u5bfc\u4e0e\u8bc4\u4f30\uff0c\u5e76\u63d0\u4f9b\u5145\u5206\u7684\u53d1\u5c55\u673a\u4f1a\uff0c\u7267\u957f\u4f1a\u901a\u5e38<strong>\u6bcf\u5e74\u53ea\u63a5\u7eb3\u4e00\u540d\u5b9e\u4e60\u751f<\/strong>\u3002<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>\u4e8c\u3001\u7533\u8bf7\u8d44\u683c<\/strong><\/p><ol style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><li>\u7533\u8bf7\u4eba\u5fc5\u987b\u5177\u5907\u826f\u597d\u7684\u4e2d\u6587\u666e\u901a\u8bdd\u80fd\u529b\u3002<\/li><li>\u7533\u8bf7\u4eba\u987b\u4e3a\u8ba4\u4fe1\u6539\u9769\u5b97\u6216\u957f\u8001\u4f1a\u6559\u4f1a\uff08NAPARC \u6210\u5458\uff09\u4e2d\u5b8c\u5168\u4ea4\u901a\u3001\u54c1\u884c\u826f\u597d\u7684\u7537\u6027\u6210\u5458\uff1bURCNA \u6210\u5458\u4f18\u5148\u3002<\/li><li>\u82e5\u975e\u6539\u9769\u5b97\u6559\u4f1a\u6210\u5458\uff0c\u5176\u4f1a\u7c4d\u662f\u5426\u88ab\u63a5\u53d7\uff0c\u7531\u7267\u957f\u4f1a\u4e2a\u522b\u5ba1\u8bae\u51b3\u5b9a\u3002<\/li><li>\u7533\u8bf7\u4eba\u987b\u4e3a\u5168\u804c\u9053\u5b66\u7855\u58eb\uff08M.Div.\uff09\u5728\u8bfb\u751f\u6216\u6bd5\u4e1a\u751f\uff0c\u5c31\u8bfb\u4e8e\u7b26\u5408 URCNA\u300a\u6559\u4f1a\u7ae0\u7a0b\u300b\u9644\u5f55\u4e00\u6240\u89c4\u5b9a\u4e4b\u3001\u63d0\u4f9b\u5f7b\u5e95\u6539\u9769\u5b97\u795e\u5b66\u6559\u80b2\u7684\u795e\u5b66\u9662\u3002<\/li><li>\u7533\u8bf7\u4eba\u987b\u5df2\u5b8c\u6210\u81f3\u5c11\u4e00\u95e8\u8bb2\u9053\u8bfe\u7a0b\u53ca\u4e00\u95e8\u8f85\u5bfc\u8bfe\u7a0b\uff0c\u4e14\u795e\u5b66\u9662 GPA \u4e0d\u4f4e\u4e8e 2.8\u3002<\/li><li>\u7533\u8bf7\u4eba\u987b\u6e05\u695a\u8868\u660e\u5176\u8fdb\u5165\u5723\u9053\u4e8b\u5949\u7684\u5fd7\u5411\u3002<\/li><li>\u7533\u8bf7\u4eba\u987b\u4f9d URCNA\u300a\u6559\u4f1a\u7ae0\u7a0b\u300b\u9644\u5f55\u4e8c\uff0c\u901a\u8fc7\u5176\u6240\u5c5e\u7267\u957f\u4f1a\u7684\u8bb2\u9053\u8bb8\u53ef\u8003\u8bd5\uff1b\u82e5\u5c1a\u672a\u901a\u8fc7\uff0c\u987b\u5728\u5b9e\u4e60\u5f55\u53d6\u524d\u5b8c\u6210\u7b49\u540c\u8003\u8bd5\u3002<\/li><li>\u7533\u8bf7\u4eba\u8fdb\u5165\u672c\u9879\u76ee\uff0c\u987b\u7ecf\u7267\u957f\u4f1a\u6b63\u5f0f\u6279\u51c6\u3002<\/li><\/ol><p start=\"3\"><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>\u793c\u4eea\uff08Liturgy<\/strong><strong>\uff09<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u5b9e\u4e60\u751f\u5c06\u6709\u673a\u4f1a\u90e8\u5206\u6216\u5168\u7a0b\u4e3b\u6301\u656c\u62dc\uff0c\u5305\u62ec\u516c\u5171\u7977\u544a\u3001\u4fe1\u4ef0\u5ba3\u544a\u3001\u8bd7\u6b4c\u9009\u62e9\u7b49\u3002\u8fd9\u5c06\u5e2e\u52a9\u5176\u5b9e\u9645\u5b66\u4e60\u656c\u62dc\u793c\u4eea\u7684\u89c4\u5212\u4e0e\u5e26\u9886\uff0c\u540c\u65f6\u4e5f\u8ba9\u7267\u957f\u4f1a\u8bc4\u4f30\u5176\u5728\u6b64\u65b9\u9762\u7684\u6069\u8d50\u5e76\u7ed9\u4e88\u53cd\u9988\u3002<\/p><ol <\/strong><strong>\u65e5\u524d\u53d1\u9001\u81f3\uff1aclerk@ccreformed.org<\/strong><strong>\uff0c\u903e\u671f\u4e0d\u5019\u3002<\/strong><\/p><hr \/><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Covenant Chinese Reformed Church Internship Program<\/strong><\/p><ol><li><strong>INTRODUCTION<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Pastoral Internship Program contains two sub phases which cover the whole year: The Summer Intensive phase, typically runs from June to August during the summer break of seminary education; and the long-term phase, runs from September to May.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This program is created for training and evaluation for men who aspire to the ministry of the Word. It is developed out of a desire to be obedient to Scripture. As the apostle Paul told Timothy \u201cand what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also\u201d (2 Tim 2.2). Moreover, Article 3 of the URCNA Church Order states:<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>Competent men should be urged to study for the ministry of the Word. A man who is a member of a church of the federation and who aspires to the ministry must evidence genuine godliness to his Consistory, which shall assume supervision of all aspects of his training, including his licensure to exhort, and assure that he receives a thoroughly reformed theological education. The council of his church should help him ensure that his financial needs are met.<\/em><\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Internship provides a potential candidate for the ministry training and evaluation in following areas: Personal life, Preaching, Liturgics, Pastoral Care and Counseling, Catechizing the youth, and Church Polity. The intern will be mentored by our Consistory, given the opportunity to display and develop his gifts, and overseen by the Consistory, which will determine his suitability for the ministry of the Word. Ordinarily, he will receive a monthly stipend for his labors approved by the Council.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In order to provide the intern with quality mentorship and evaluation, as well as an adequate amount of opportunity to display and develop his gifts, the Consistory will ordinarily admit only one man per year.<\/p><ol><li><strong>PREREQUISITES<\/strong><\/li><li>The applicant must be competent in <strong>Mandarin Chinese language<\/strong>.<\/li><li>The applicant must be <strong>a good-standing male member<\/strong> in full communion of a confessional Reformed or Presbyterian church (NAPARC). The preference is given to URCNA members.<\/li><li>If he is not, his non-Reformed church membership might be accounted acceptable by our Consistory on an individual basis.<\/li><li>The applicant must be full-time student enrolled at or a graduate of <strong>Master of Divinity <\/strong>program at a theological seminary that provides a thoroughly Reformed theological education in accordance with URCNA Church Order Appendix 1.<\/li><li>The applicant must demonstrate his competence of theological study, having completed at least <strong>1 preaching course<\/strong> and <strong>1 counseling course<\/strong> at seminary prior to internship application, and maintaining a <strong>GPA at least 2.8<\/strong> in seminary.<\/li><li>The applicant must demonstrate a desire to enter the ministry of the Word.<\/li><li>The applicant must sustain a <strong>licensure examination<\/strong> by his Consistory in accordance with URCNA Church Order Appendix 2. If not, an equivalent exam must be given prior to admission to internship.<\/li><li>The application must be approved by the Consistory for the entrance of this program.<\/li><\/ol><ul><li><strong>TRAINING<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><ol><li><strong>Personal and Public Life<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The intern will receive encouragement and guidance from our Consistory to grow in piety and godly way of life. He needs to carry himself in a godly and dignified manner in words and deeds, dress professionally and look presentable when at church, seminary, or on any official assignments.<\/p><ol start=\"2\"><li><strong>Exhorting (Preaching)<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The intern will receive opportunities to exhort (preach), to demonstrate and develop his gifts for preaching the Word of God. The Consistory will offer constructive feedback, and determine whether or not he possesses the necessary gifts for the ministry of the Word.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The intern is encouraged to take advantage of opportunities to exhort in other congregations, especially but not limited to those in the URCNA. This, however, is not to conflict with his assignment of exhorting or leading worship at this church.<\/p><ol start=\"3\"><li><strong>Liturgy<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The intern will have opportunities to lead worship service, partially or entirely. This shall include leading in public prayer, confession of faith, choosing songs, etc. This will give the intern vital experience in planning and leading different parts of the liturgy, as well as opportunity to demonstrate his ability to lead the congregation in worship. This will also provide the Consistory with the opportunity to evaluate the intern\u2019s gifts in this area and offer him constructive feedback.<\/p><ol start=\"4\"><li><strong>Catechizing the Youth<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The intern will be assigned a catechism class to teach and\/or assist in teaching under the oversight of Consistory. This will provide the intern with an opportunity to instruct the youth of the church, learning how to make complicated subjects of doctrine easily understood.<\/p><ol start=\"5\"><li><strong>Pastoral Care<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The intern will be given assignments in particular areas of pastoral care. This may include tasks such as visitation of shut-ins, members in the hospital, family visitation with the elders or pastor, visitation with the deacons, meeting with individual members of the congregation, evangelism, discipleship, counseling, etc. Ordinarily, all assignments will require a short reflection paper from the intern on what he learned, which will be reviewed by the Consistory.<\/p><ol start=\"6\"><li><strong>Church Polity<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The intern will attend the monthly meetings of Consistory and Council. This will provide the intern with some experience in church polity and proper oversight of the congregation. This also provides the Consistory with the opportunity to evaluate the intern\u2019s ability to conduct himself well at ecclesiastical meetings. The intern must attend at least one meeting of the deacons.<\/p><ol><li><strong>OUTLINE <\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The general outline of an intern\u2019s duties is the following:<\/p><ol><li>During the first month of the Summer phase, the intern will gradually take part of worship services (both morning and catechetical services). At the same time, he is to conduct research to decide the sermons series he will be doing. He will begin to attend all ecclesiastical meetings. He will be asked to participate in elder visits, pastoral visits, and other pastoral care occasionally.<\/li><li>In the second month, he will preach at least two sermons at the services chosen by the Consistory.<\/li><li>In the third month, he will preach at least four sermons at the services chosen by the Consistory.<\/li><li>During the long-term phase, he will be scheduled to preach at least once a month (9 months in total).<\/li><li>During the long-term phase, he will teach one children Sunday school if applicable.<\/li><\/ol><ol><li><strong>EVALUATION<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The intern will receive a formal evaluation by the Consistory. They will be conducted in person, during a meeting of the Consistory.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These evaluations will include:<\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">personal life and character (general attitude, conduct, interpersonal skills, family relations, faithfulness in completing assignments)<\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">competence in preaching,<\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">leading worship,<\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">teaching the youth,<\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">pastoral care,<\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">understanding of church polity.<\/li><\/ul><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the formal evaluation, the Consistory will identify the intern\u2019s strengths as well as offer recommendations on needed improvement, and will inform the intern of whether or not they recommend him for the ministry of the Word.<\/p><ol><li><strong>APPLYING TO THE PROGRAM<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The following credentials should be presented to the Consistory before April 30 of the year the prospective intern desires to enter the program. This allows the Consistory adequate time to review the prospective intern\u2019s application, interview him, and schedule a licensure examination. Applications received after April 30 will not be accepted.
