The governance model of Covenant Chinese Reformed Church is based on the inerrant revelation of Scripture and follows the Church Order of the United Reformed Churches in North America (URCNA). We acknowledge three offices: Minister of the Word, Elder, and Deacon. The Minister(s) and the Elder(s) together form the Consistory, which receives its authority from Christ himself to govern His body—the church—in a spiritual manner. Consistory with the Deacons forms the Council, which handles the church’s non-spiritual business.
